Driving Children to A Cure

Our agency is raising funds to help support a child’s journey to a cure for cancer. Compass to Care ensures all children can access life-saving cancer treatment by helping them travel from their homes to the hospital.

Compass to Care schedules and pays for travel arrangements to the hospital to give children the best access to life-saving cancer treatment, regardless of their family’s financial situation. Since they began in 2010, they have supported 351 children on their 8,880 trips to cancer treatment. As of January 31, 2018, these children have traveled a combined 1,334,760 miles to treatment and back home. Compass to Care covers gas, parking, toll fees, lodging, and other travel related expenses. “Compass to Care inspires us to make a difference for our community through their dedication to ensure every child has an equal chance at cancer treatment.”
