Glenn Dougherty

Agency Owner

I live in Plainfield, about 40 miles outside of Chicago, but I’ve operated my Allstate agency at on 63rd Street in Chicago since March 2002. I grew up in the Chicago area, graduating from De La Salle Catholic High School. I earned my bachelor’s degree from Bradley University in Peoria and my MBA in finance from DePaul University here in Chicago. My agency is not far from Chicago Midway International Airport – and there are so many wonderful restaurants nearby. I especially love visiting all the great Mexican restaurants in the area.

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our four grown sons. I’m also a member of the Kappa Alpha Psi alumni chapter. We participate in the Guide Right program, offering educational and occupational guidance to young men. I also mentor youth through the Generational Blessings Family Worship Center & Church.

I’ve been an agent since 1995, and I appreciate the opportunity my work gives me to help Chicago customers make decisions that protect what matters most – their family, home, car and boat. The ability to work with my family in my Chicago office also means a great deal. Both my sister and my son work at my agency, and we offer friendly and knowledgeable service to both Spanish and English-speaking customers. We have six licensed agents in the office as well as a licensed financial services specialist. Every day, I see the ways in which my work makes a difference in customers’ lives.

Caroline Alanis

I have over nine years of experience in the insurance industry, ensuring that all of my clients are properly covered. I grew up in the Chicagoland area and have worked in retail for over 20 years before I made the switch to insurance.  I have always been a people person and knew I wanted to help others.

I have alopecia universalis, and love it when people ask me why I do not have any hair so I can share my story.  I also love being able to connect with others when they share that they know others with alopecia and have my own support group that meets once a month. Curling up on the couch with a good book and watching movies are among my favorite past times.

I love to volunteer with my church and belong to The Ark, who help the homeless and less fortunate.

 

Angelica Aleman

I have eight years experience in the insurance industry, loving every step of the field I’m in and the people I am surrounded by. I can not express how much I enjoy doing what I do. It’s a great feeling when you know you’re helping families insure the things that are most valuable to them. I can put their worries at ease by letting them know they are in good hands.

I grew up on the south side of Chicago and really love to help our community and others as well. I enjoy spending my free time with my kids, Maya and Nate. They are the reason why I do what I do every day. My ideal weekend would be at the lake sunbathing away or anything that includes family events and family outings. I also love to dance and many say it’s my guilty pleasure!

Ronald Dougherty

I have been in the insurance industry for twelve years. Given my experience in the industry, I can provide knowledge to our clients to better assist them with making a sound decision concerning their insurance needs.

I grew up on the south side of Chicago but as a result of moving many times, I have had the pleasure of residing throughout the Chicago area. In my free time, I enjoy watching and talking about football, all day, every day. I also enjoy the movies, bowling and dining out.

Aida Chavez

I’ve been in the Insurance industry for about 11 years. I’ve met and helped wonderful people. I enjoy advising and protecting others and I especially love the rewarding feeling when I’m able to protect and help others as well as their loved ones.

I grew up in the south side of Chicago and later moved to the south suburbs. I love the city life and enjoy the views.I love spending time with My family and close friends. I also really enjoy spending time with my 3 wonderful kids, Elisandro, Anjulie and Lyanna. I learn so much from them and they make me a better person. On Sundays, I go to church, but I also enjoy taking walks, going to the movies and listening to music.  I am always on the phone with my siblings and best friend.

I love volunteering at my kid’s school and church and can’t wait to see what we can do for our community.
